ABOUT THE BLOG

As many of you already know, studying abroad in Italy has been a dream of mine since my first semester of college, and now it's finally here! In partnership with the API Study Abroad Student Blogger/Vlogger Program, I will be writing about my time traveling throughout Italia, and all of the wonderful experiences I anticipate to have alongside some new friends. 
For those of you who don't quite know who I am, hi! My name is Kate, and I am a senior at Texas A&M University down in College Station, Texas. This summer I will be spending ten WONDERFUL weeks in Florence, Italy at the Lorenzo de' Medici University. Within those ten weeks, I'll have the opportunity to travel to tons of different places within Italy. 
I'm so excited to share all of my experiences with you guys! The posts you'll be seeing will range from pre-departure anxieties, to a "day-in-the-life" of a student abroad, to what a typical meal in Florence looks like etc. I can't wait to share my journey with you guys!
